Image analysis
This contemporaneous 1947 image shows officers examining thin debris on the floor and is one of the few photographs in the archive directly tied to an event date. It records what was presented to the press, but appearance alone cannot establish whether it was the original recovered material, a weather device or something else. Official explanations and later testimony must be compared separately.04 · EVIDENCE REVIEW
