1994 Ariel School encounter claim
Period · 1994Place · Ruwa, Zimbabwe
01 · OVERVIEW
Case overview
On 16 September 1994, dozens of Ariel School pupils said they saw a silvery object and small, dark-eyed figures beyond the playground. Journalist Cynthia Hind interviewed children within days, and Harvard psychiatrist John Mack later conducted interviews. Early drawings and filmed testimony survive, but group-memory effects, interview methods, peer influence and the absence of verified physical traces prevent confirmation of an extraterrestrial encounter.

A later aerial view of the Harare region, roughly twenty kilometres from Ruwa; it is not an image of the sighting or a pupil's drawing.
